Biography

Grigori Rasputin was born in 1869 in a small Siberian village in Russia. He had a sister and a brother, Maria and Dimitri. Her sister drowned and her mother blamed Grigori for not watching over her, shortly after Dimitri died of pneumonia, almost drowning from Rasputin.

The Russian discovered his special mental powers by discovering the thief of a horse from his father. He grew up and married, having two children whom he named like his dead siblings. He left his family at age 33 to go to a monastery to become a religious man, spending many years living as a homeless man and traveling, there he became known for using his powers.

One day her life changed, a woman, a friend of the kzarina, went to ask for her help to cure the son of the czars, Alexei was sick with hemophilia and it was certain that he would die. Rasputin cured Alexei and he became a very important man for the kingdom, he was an advisor to the Czar and the Czarina.

He made many enemies over time, people who warned the kings that he was a very bad man.

Grigori dreamed that Russia would lose in the first world war, if the army did not have someone in command, so the Czar traveled to take place in the fight. Rasputin stayed with Czarina Alexandra, but soon after the economy worsened and people no longer wanted the power to be held by the Romanovs, so they criticized and attacked everything Grigori did.

Felix Yusupov made a plan for the death of Rasputin, in 1916 they invited him to a dinner with the excuse that the queen invited him, they tried to poison him with cyanide but he was still alive after consuming it, the soldiers began to fear him, they decided shooting him in the chest, a man approached and Rasputin reacted by grabbing him so he was still alive.

A group of workers decided to burn the body. Rasputin before his death left a letter saying that if he died at the hands of the nobles, the czar will have nothing to give to his children, and the Romanovs will rule for hundreds of years. The prophecy was fulfilled, the czar's family died, and the Romanovs ruled.
