• Entrambi dediti a “a fare la propria vita come si fa un’opera d’arte”

Mattia Pascaldue esistenze del protagonista

• Mattia Pascal (nel “Il fu Mattia Pascal” di Pirandello del 1904), viene dato per morto
• Perde la propria identità e assume quella fittizia di Adriano Meis.
• Per la società Meis non è mai nato.

Il Visconte Medardo:il bene e il male

• Il Visconte Medardo ( da Il visconte dimezzato di Calvino del 1952) è un uomo diviso in due metà: una buona e una cattiva.
• Medardo è la rappresentazione dell’uomo moderno.
• Un uomo che cerca incessantemente di ricongiungere le sue due parti per raggiungere la completezza.
• Un uomo che sceglie sempre di privilegiare una parte e quindi rimane sempre diviso a metà.
