Saw: The Cordillera Negra, a complex chain of hills with numerous ravines, spaces limited by abrupt and steep rocky slopes, almost vertical, flat bottom, does not have glaciers, only on rare occasions its highest peaks are covered with transitory snow. The Cordillera Blanca is covered by extensive glaciers, being the highest mountain range in the Peruvian Andes and the world's tropics.

45 km from Chiquián to Llamac. Although it is a small mountain range, it is one of the most spectacular in the Andes Mountains and is located on the border of the Huánuco, Áncash and Lima regions. On the walk you can see some of the six mountains that make it up.

Churup Lagoon

It is located in the upper basin of the Marañón River. It was the administrative and religious center of the Chavín culture. Its pyramid-shaped structures are built of stone and clay mortar. The most imposing structure is known as "El Castillo", also called "Templo Mayor" or "New Temple". The high degree of engineering perfection in the carving and polishing of the stones associated with its architecture.
