Saw: The Cordillera Negra, a complex chain of hills with numerous ravines, spaces limited by abrupt and steep rocky slopes, almost vertical, flat bottom, does not have glaciers, only on rare occasions its highest peaks are covered with transitory snow. The Cordillera Blanca is covered by extensive glaciers, being the highest mountain range in the Peruvian Andes and the world's tropics.

ANCASH
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
45 km from Chiquián to Llamac. Although it is a small mountain range, it is one of the most spectacular in the Andes Mountains and is located on the border of the Huánuco, Áncash and Lima regions. On the walk you can see some of the six mountains that make it up.
THE CORDILLERA HUAYHUASH
The Nevado Pastoruri "agonizes" rapidly due to the Global Warming that is hitting our planet, so some experts predict that its snows could disappear within 15 or 20 years. On the slopes of the snow, you can now see bare rocks where before there was abundant ice and snow, dark spots have appeared as a result of the thaw.
SNOWY OF PASTORURI
At the foot of the snowy Huascarán, in the Llanganuco ravine, nature offers us one of the best shows. Like two mirrors of the sky, the Chinancocha and Orconcocha Lagoons have created a new color in nature: neither green nor blue, perhaps turquoise, the truth is that their beauty leaves visitors speechless.
LAGOONS LLANGANUCO
A paradise surrounded by imposing glaciers that bathe the mountain range and are the origin of mighty rivers; with a flora and fauna of hundreds of species
