what is making learning visible day?
All CI Kids groups should have their Making Learning Visible moment during the same week. This coordinated approach helps build a shared culture around celebrating learning, making it a recognizable and anticipated event across the school. It also supports logistical planning, ensures consistency in delivery, and creates a sense of unity and shared purpose among students, teachers, and families.
Learners should be encouraged to make a live presentation as naturally as possible, genuinely showing where they are on their learning journey. This authentic approach helps learners feel comfortable and confident in using the language they’ve acquired, rather than aiming for perfection. It also allows families to witness real progress and understand that learning is a process.
This is the end-of-term event where young learners showcase key moments from the semester to their families, helping make their progress more tangible and boosting their sense of achievement.

Encouraging spontaneity and natural use of language reinforces the communicative purpose of learning English and validates each child’s individual pace and development.
