Our school trains diligent students who want to discover, develop and experiment everyday, this way being ready to succesfully confront the next steps of their lives.
Provided that the students are working hard for their dreams and the teachers are training them very well, the results of our college are visible, being one of the best highschools in Romania.
ABOUT OUR COLLEGE
A piece of history
On 30th of september 1872, a new educational institution was opened, in order to convey to students who will come to this college the education which is necessary for a student, thus managing to become a model college of the Roman and of the country.
"Roman-Voda" National College has trained many important personalities and many students who have been eager to learn, them always being supported by a well trained staff.
the "European Parliament ambassador schools" project
This programme looks forward to improving teenargers' knowledge about Europe and the European Parliamentary democracy. They are being acquainted with the possibilities that come with the european citizenship, as well as the role of the European Parliament in the decision-making process.
"Roman Vodă" National College won the title of "Ambassador School" in 2018!

iN THE AREA OF ROMAN
Roman is a town located in Neamț County, Romania. It is placed in the central part of the Moldavian Plateau, at the confluence of the Siret and Moldova rivers.

When visting Roman, you can do a variety of things spanning from visiting the many beautiful churches: "St. Parascheva Cathedral", "Sfintii Voivods Church" and the Armenian Church, to going the museums or seeing the Roman Municipal Park, where you can rent a small boat and go around the lake which is situated in the middle of the park. The city center also has a variety of restaurants, shops and parks that you can visit during the day.

Of cultural importance are the History Museum, the Art Museum, the Museum of Natural Sciences. In the heart of the city is the house of conductor Sergiu Celibidache, also known as the House of the vornic Done.
The Roman Archbishop's Cathedral was built by Prince Petru Rareș on the site of the old Metropolitan Cathedral, which dates from the 14th century. The works on the current archbishopric cathedral lasted for 8 years, ending in 1550 through the care of Petru Rareș's wife, Lady Elena.

Roman belongs to the Neamț County. It is located in the North-East of Romania, at the limit of the Oriental Carpathians and the Moldovian Plateau. We are located in a mountain area and we have so many beautiful places and interest points.
