What or who are the indians/ Indigenous?

Also known as Amerindians or Native Americans, indigenous are the native people of the, now USA, who occupied the territory before the european invasion.

Historical Context

Indigenous "ruled" the continent with multipe tribes

15 000 years ago the indigenous ancestors arrived at what we now call America

Their descendents explored along the west coast and coverd almost the entire continent

In the 15th century is when the Europeans invade the continent
