In May 2009, he was one of six candidates selected to form the third group of European astronauts to be chosen by the European Space Agency (ESA). On April 23, 2021, Thomas Pesquet embarks for the second time in his life to the International Space Station (ISS).
Thomas Pesquet was born on 27 February 1978 in Rouen (43 years old). He is a french astronaut. Thomas Pesquet is the son of the matematics and physics teacher and a schoolteacher
The parens of Thomas Pesquet are Pierre Pesquet and Marie Benois. His wife is Anne Mottet. Thomas Pesquet has an older brother named Baptiste (he is engineer and teacher).
