kfc logo evolution
Start
Kentucky Fried Chicken commonly known as KFC, is the second largest food chain in the world. It was created in 1952 by Colonel Sanders in Kentucky, United States.
The first logo was black and white. Contained the full brand's name, and next to the name, the face of the Colonel Sanders
in 1991 the abreviation "kfc" became part of the logo
The reason for this was that the company wanted to remove the word "fried" from the logo, as it supposed an unhealthy food choice. The red colour was added, as well as, white strips
In 1997, KFC logo was square and the Colonels Sander's face became bigger
In 2006, the logo was a deep red circle with a new image of the Colonel Sanders, wearing an apron. Letters are in white on the left of the face
In 2018, the last design of KFC logo. The shape was changed to trapeze, with three vertical lines in red and white. In this case Colonel Sanders is wearing a tie bow, like the one at the begining
where can we find a kfc in spain?
my logo
I have kept the colour red with white letters, because from my point of view, the red is an energetic and live colour and the chicken as the main part of the menu.
