What is intensive agriculture ?

Intensive agriculture is a way of producing large amounts of crops or animals by using chemicals and machines. It represents a big part of the agricultural lands.

Advantages :

Intensive agriculture enable a high yield. It increases the yield of agricultural production in terms of both quantity and quality. It can make it possible to produce sufficient quantities of products to fight against hunger ine the world

Disadvantages :

Intensive agriculture is a cause of environmental and human's health problem. It pollutes soil and water quality, deteriorates biodiversity and has health consequences because of the use of chemicals and antiobiotics.
