Olive Sanford (nee Wilmot) was born in 1864 in Newcastle, Ontario to Samuel Wilmot and Helen Matilda Wilmot (nee Clarke). She married three times in her life—first to Thomas Herring Burchard, second to Henry Romain Winans, and third to Henry Sanford.
