ANGIOSPERMS:

  • Produce flowers and fruit
  • Seeds develop inside fruit
  • video

GYMNOSPERMS:

  • Do not produce flowers
  • Seeds develop inside cones

  • Pollen can be transported by insects, wind or other animals like bats.

Photosynthesis

Recipe for plant food

  1. Sunlight
  2. Water and Minerals
  3. Carbon dioxide

+info

What do plants eat?

This process is called photosynthesis

Plants make their own food:

  • Roots absorb water and minerals
  • Leaves receive sunlight and through the clorophyll is transformed in energy.
  • They take carbone dioxide from the air releasing oxygen when doing the photosynthesis

+info

What happens when there is no sunlight?

Plants stop releasing oxygen and the process is inverted. They take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
