What do plants eat?
This process is called photosynthesis
Plants make their own food:
- Roots absorb water and minerals
- Leaves receive sunlight and through the clorophyll is transformed in energy.
- They take carbone dioxide from the air releasing oxygen when doing the photosynthesis
+info
What happens when there is no sunlight?
Plants stop releasing oxygen and the process is inverted. They take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
