Text to Columns

Take text in one or more cells and split it into multiple cells using the Convert Text to Columns Wizard.

Flash Fill

Flash Fill automatically fills your data when it senses a pattern. For example, you can use Flash Fill to separate first and last names from a single column, or combine first and last names from two different columns.

Auto Fill

Instead of entering data manually on a worksheet, you can use the AutoFill feature to fill cells with data that follows a pattern or that is based on data in other cells.

Find & Replace

Use the Find and Replace features in Excel to search for something in your workbook, such as a particular number or text string. You can either locate the search item for reference, or you can replace it with something else. You can include wildcard characters such as question marks, tildes, and asterisks, or numbers in your search terms. You can search by rows and columns, search within comments or values, and search within worksheets or entire workbooks.
