Differences between cinema and theater
Even if it appears theater and cinema are similar, there are differences.
Cinema
Theatre
In the theater is a live perform, the costumes and the setting are real. But cinema is watched, not live.
Theatre
Visual effects cannot be used in the theater; But in cinema, effects are applied with computers.
While there is the concept of stage in theater, cinema is shown on the screen.
Cinema
The theater cannot be watched at home; but the cinema can be watched at home.
Cinema
The same cinema can be watched in different halls at the same time. But the same theater can only be exhibited in one place.
There is a time and space limitation in the theater. But movies can contain long periods of time and different places.
Theatre
Making a cinema movie requires a huge financial investment. There is no need for this in the theater.
