Servicing City multi systems
All City multi units require servicing at least once a year to meet warranty requirements
Service frequency
The service frequency of the VRF City multi system needs to be agreed depending on the kind of environment the system is installed
If the system is installed in a clean sterile area, the fan coils may not need to be service as often as an application where the indoor environment is dusty or dirty
If the system is installed in a clean sterile area, the fan coils may not need to be service as often as an application where the indoor environment is dusty or dirty
There may also be specialist requirements for more frequent servicing in applications such as operating theatres and laboratories. This needs to confirmed with the customer
Service frequency
If the VRF City multi system is installed in a dusty or dirty environment the indoor filters and coil will become blocked a lot quicker than a clean environment
This kind of application needs to be monitored closely and filters checked regulary for the first 12 months of operation to ensure a sufficient service programme is agreed
There may also be a requirement for a periodic full system shutdown and a stripdown deep clean depending and the severety of the dirt build up on the indoor coils
