  • The train leaves at 6 pm.
  • The meeting starts at 11 am.

We use the Present Continuous for plans and arrangements

  • We are having a party at Christmas.
  • We are spending our next holidays in France.

The Future Perfect

The Future Perfect

We use the Future Perfect to say that something will be over at a certain moment in the future.

  • Do you think you will have finished your painting by Thursday?
  • In 2028 I will have traveled in America.
  • I think astronauts will have landed on Mars by the year 2025.

le participe passé:- pour les verbes réguliers : on rajoute -ed à la base verbale. dance -> danced, danced - pour les verbes irréguliers : il faut les apprendre. On les trouve dans la 4ème colonne. chanter : sing -> sang -> sung.
