Improving digital, communicative and travel skills.

Impact of the Erasmus Project on students.

Improvement the school environment and the team spirit, avoiding bullying.

how?

+ Multicultural, artistic and sports activities organized on the different mobilities (C1,C2,C3,C4 and virtual mobility C5) to prevent the peer bullying of migrant students and to prevent early school leavings. Our project creates awareness to our students that culture is not superior or inferior to any particular identity or product. Because all cultural values contribute to the cultural wealth and diversity of the society in which they belong.

Improvement the school environent and the team spirit, avoiding bullying.

how?

+ Learning about bullying through conferences, workshops, presentations, games...The goals of these activities were to: 1. Help students to identify and avoid the problem. 2. Examine the practical applications of anti-bullying interventions. 3. Organize an inventory of accessible anti-bullying tools and products.

Development of learning and communication skills through all the activities.

how?

+ Designing and presenting creative activities to develop children skills such as resilience, communication, proactivity and leadership that we consider some of the areas that are essential when facing the challenges of the 21st century and our project has helped us to get it. Activities such as: Speaking games, anti-bullying workshops, Comic contest (I stop bullying), Peace Day and Anti-bullying Day activities, music videos, etc.

Communication skills

+ The importance of English language development.Speech, language and communication skills are crucial to the development of our project. Being able to speak clearly and process speech sounds, to understand others, to express ideas and interact with others are fundamental building blocks that we considered when we designed our activities and workshops. Use learning beyond the classroom It will also help them better understand the importance of certain skills in their everyday and future. Try providing opportunities for students to "transfer" project learning to real-life situations – for example, when looking at solving a bullying problem, ask students how they would approach a scenario that could happen to them, and the steps they would go through to solve it. Moreover teach tolerance and resilience to successfully work in a growing collaborative and global community, our students showed an ability and openness to communicate with unfamiliar cultures and ideas. To build these skills, students need exposure to open discussions and experiences as in our project that can help them feel comfortable communicating with others.

Cultural, artistic and sports activities to know and learn about different cultures.

how?

+ Migrant students had the opportunity to become friends in their own schools through their ethnic cultural, artistic and sportive studies with other friends. They learned about different cultures. Art and sports are the easiest tools to understand cultures. At the same time, art and sports require respect, understanding, tolerance, co-operation and joint work. Our immigrant students will be accepted by other students. in this way, the peer tyranny they are exposed to by their friends was eliminated.

Impact of the Erasmus Project on teachers.

Teachers will acquire new skills and develop didactic innovations throughout the project.

how?

+ Thanks to the different activities the teachers developed information about new teaching strategies/approaches. They learnt the basics of European language, project management and development of multi-cultured teamwork techniques. The workshops, conferences and the constant exposure and understanding of diverse practices and approaches have augmented the teachers’ professional skills and enriched their didactic background.

Experts in "bullying"

We learned and shared new ideas and explored best practices to get our objectives. We were inspired by new colleagues and refreshed our thinking, returning from each mobility enthused and motivated.

All the teachers as part of the project have gained an extensive knowledge about bullying prevention and what we can do to face this problem.

Teachers improve digital, communicative and travel skills gaining new professional perspectives.

how?

+In a digitally focused world, education is getting more and more digitized pushing us, teachers and educators, to re-conceptualize what it really means to be a teacher in the 21st century. Technology has become an essential force shaping much of our teaching and pedagogical practices. It has also placed a number of demands and exigencies on us and to meet these exigencies we need to develop a set of key digital skills. Our project helped us to develop these skills:

Skills

Create Engaging presentations

Record and edit audio clips

Gamified Apps

Use web tools to incorporate learning concepts

Create non-traditional quizzes

Produce interactive video content

Create infographics and posters.

11

More and more.

Travel Skills

We developed travel skills such us organization and planning, adaptability, decision-making, creative-thinking, problem-solving and self-management.

Communicative Skills

This project was an opportunity to strengthen confidence in using English, to improve the practice in English related to international work and to understand how intercultural situations can affect international team work and partnership.
