Henry viii

Henry VIII was the King who decided to separate the United Kingdom from the Church because of his wish to marry Anne Boleyn, his mistress. So he created The Church of England to marry his future wife.

CONSEQUENCES

The Reformation has allowed Henry VIII to take possession of Church's lands and to affirm his power and his link with god. He created a new system where they were any priest between people and god and this has changed everything. Indeed, people were finally with God themselves without interval. And finally, Bibles were for the first time translated into English, everyone could read them and discover the story.
