Most prisoners had to wake up around 4 in the morning to begin their days. Once they woke up the were only allowed about 30 minutes to get ready. Then a roll call would be taken. If any prisoner messed up this time they were beaten and tourtured. After roll call prisoners did the work they were told to do. This all occured during extreme weather conditions.Any type of fail or show of stuggle resulted in a beating. The work day was usually over around 5 and they were called for another roll call where they were counted, those who died were counted, and they ate dinner. Dinner was presented in very small rations. After dinner they had some time as free time but very limited options on what to do and were expected to be in bed asleep by 9.
Once prisoners arrived at Auschwitz they had to strip off the clothes they came with and shave their heads bald, then they had to take showers if front and with all other prisoners around them.
