Testing the pressure transducers
Testing the Pressure transducers
It is also possible to test the pressure transducer voltage output as per the below information
Checking the transducer readings
If you suspect one of the pressure transducers is not reading the system pressure accurately, you can prove this by turning the demand off to the system and wait for the pressures to equalise for around 10 minutes
Once all of the system pressure is balanced, you can use the SW4 dip switches on the outdoor unit to read all of the systems pressure transducers. They all should read the same standing pressure value
If any of the transducers read significantly different (more than 1 bar) from the rest of the transducers and the standing pressure, this proves the transducer has failed and will need replacing
The pressure transducers are brazed into the refrigerant circuit, therefore, if one needs replacing the full system refrigerant charge will need to be pumped down and/or reclaimed
