HYDRO-METEOROLOGICAL

Hydrometeorological hazards are caused by extreme meteorological and climate events, such as floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, landslides, or mudslides. Multiple hazards often concur in one extreme weather event.

HOW TO AVOID IT

Make sure you have an adequate supply of non-perishable food and clean water at home.

If you live in a place that is in the path of the cyclone or monsoon, close all doors and windows.
