El porro es un ritmo musical de la Región Caribe colombiana,tradicional en Córdoba.Su ritmo es candencioso,alegre y fietero,propicio para el baile en prejas.Se ejecuta en compás de 2/2 o,como se le dice en América compas partido.Lucho Bermúdez fue tal vez el principal responsable por haber hecho que el porro se practicase a partir de 1940.
