Stative and Dynamic verbs
In English, some verbs can't be used in the progressive or continuous form. They are called non-continuous or stative verbs
Stative verbs
Usually, refer to a state or condition which is quite static or unchanging. We don't do actively do what the state describes States stay the same over long periods of time and often they can't be seen

Dynamic verbs
They describe actions, which means something is moving or changing. Actions usually have a beginning and an end. They happen at a specific or limited time. Actions can usually be seen happening.
Some verbs can be both stative and dynamic

1. These flowers __________________nice!2. I don’t speak much Spanish but I __________________it when I hear it.3. This tea __________________too sweet. How much sugar did you add?4. Strawberry ice-cream is okay but I__________________ chocolate ice-cream.5. My son still __________________in Santa Claus. He’s only four years old.6. I borrowed money from my brother. Now I __________________him ten dollars.7. Do you __________________your home or do you pay rent every month?8. My classmate is very smart. He __________________many things.9.
