This is the middle class. Knights, Castle workers E.t.c.

This is the highest class. King, Queen, Pope E.t.c.

Medieval Blacksmiths Clothing.

Blacksmiths normally wore leather aprons, loose slirts, solid boots, leather belt.

How wealthy was a blacksmith?

Blacksmiths were usually more wealthy than peasants. Blacksmiths were not more wealthy than knights. Blacksmiths could afford leather aprons.
