What is double figure 8 loop
A double figure-eight loop, is a type of knot that forms two parallel loops, and resembles the figure-eight loop. It is frequently used in climbing and caving as an easily untie-able knot that is capable of being attached to two bolts and equalised.
USES OF DOUBLE LOOP
Rock Climbing
Can create a makeshift seat
Suitable for equalizing 2 anchors
Belaying a following who is in guide mode
Fishing
HOW TO TIE
Make a loop with a long bight of rope
Pass the end through the loop making "8"
Pass the end through the "8"
Open up the end loop and take it to the front from the back
Pass it to the right
Hold end and pull to tighten
It resembles a set of bunny ears
