Computers should not be thrown away. They have several parts with chemical residues that cause problems in the environment and, even more so in humans, so we must know what to do if we want to discard a computer.
First, we must ask ourselves:
Are you sure the computer doesn't work anymore? Do I really need another one? Is it possible to fix it?
Try to use your computer until the end of its life. If you choose to exchange, make a donation or sale over the internet. Some charities and telecentres accept electronic devices in good condition. If it can no longer be repaired, send your old computer for recycling (Most electronic components are recyclable, which guarantees the reuse of 80% of plastic and metal materials).
