First meeting in Arbas

During this meeting, the aim was to define specifications for the manufactureof a photovolaic generator that can be carried on the back of a donkey from the farm of Oulan bât

Determination of the size that the donkey will carry on taking into account of its moves and avoiding to be unbalanced

Presentation of a flexible photovoltaic panel as an example of mounting possibilities

The saddlebags not being adapted, a pack was brought back to the Eugène Montel high school to have lighter ones built by the students of BTS CRCI

Evolution of the prototype and improvement of the system by the high school students

Installing the final system with the batteries

Reception and accomodation of students at Eugène Montel high school

Arriving a the Blagnac airport

Visit of Airbus factory and the museum Aéroscopia

Hiking at the ESTIVE of PALOUMèRE

- Galleries with low ceilings

A challenge proudly won !

Welcome in croatia

It's 7.15 am and the departure for Croatia from Toulouse is imminent. After a stopover in Frankfurt, the students of Terminale MELEC along with their teacher arrive o, Zagreb, capital of the country. The Croatian official was impatiently waiting to come with them to Kuterevo, a small village.

The stay begins

BEAR REFUGE - KUTEREVO

The next morning, after the breakfast, the meeting with orphan bears managed by French volunteers marked the beginning of our journey.

PRESENTATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR

The planned activity on photovoltaic panels was canceled dur to the unsuitable weather. We still had the presentation of the equipement of the Verazdin high school.

VISIT OF NATIONAL PARKS

Visit of Velebit museum

Shame, due to bad weather conditions we couldn't visit the park

However we really enjoyed our hike to the Plitvice lake

VISIT OF TRAKOSCAN CASTLE

We visited the castle of Trakoscan. It is a nice 13th century medieval castle surrounded by a lake. We especially liked the weapon room.

PHOTOVOLTAICS IN CROATIA

Failing to be able to practice, we are not deappointed and have learned about photovoltaics in Croatia.

Photovoltaics : electrical energy produced from solar radiation thanks to panels or photovoltaic solar power plants. It's a so called renewable energy, therefore linked to sustainable development.

Solvis factory, manufactor of panels world wide known

NIkola Tesla Museum

NILOLA TESLA (1856 - 1943)

The visit to eh museum and the Tesla House was reachful for teachers and students. Moreover it is a knowledge closely related to the field of electricity.

THE HIGH SCHOOL IN CroatiA

Within a game, we competed with croatians, responding to questions based on photovoltaic.

The 6th of November, we had the opportunity to visit the high school in Varazdin. The residential part was a bit old but we were mainly impressed by the ability of Croates to speak in English.

ORIENTEERING RACE - ZAGREB

It was not easy for all of us to find our way !

At the end the way back to France was quick. Thanks to our guides Mr Fortune, Filali and Belghiti allowing to the students to discover an other environment that the usual scholar environment.

We deserved a good meal in a restaurant, that concluded this school and professional trip.

The objectives of Erasmus K2 project have been achieved : all the installations made in high schools of France and Croatia arrived to their principal.Unfortunately, due to the sanitary conditions of the COVID 19 crisis they couldn't use all the systems. The sdudents were happy to particiapate to this international exchange. They could even practice their knowledge in English, discover an other culture. At the level of the high school, the students could see that the teaching methods were different but they met the same electrical didactic system.
