BEAR REFUGE - KUTEREVO
The next morning, after the breakfast, the meeting with orphan bears managed by French volunteers marked the beginning of our journey.
PRESENTATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR
The planned activity on photovoltaic panels was canceled dur to the unsuitable weather. We still had the presentation of the equipement of the Verazdin high school.
VISIT OF NATIONAL PARKS
Visit of Velebit museum
Shame, due to bad weather conditions we couldn't visit the park
However we really enjoyed our hike to the Plitvice lake
VISIT OF TRAKOSCAN CASTLE
We visited the castle of Trakoscan. It is a nice 13th century medieval castle surrounded by a lake. We especially liked the weapon room.
PHOTOVOLTAICS IN CROATIA
Failing to be able to practice, we are not deappointed and have learned about photovoltaics in Croatia.
Photovoltaics : electrical energy produced from solar radiation thanks to panels or photovoltaic solar power plants. It's a so called renewable energy, therefore linked to sustainable development.
Solvis factory, manufactor of panels world wide known
NIkola Tesla Museum
NILOLA TESLA (1856 - 1943)
The visit to eh museum and the Tesla House was reachful for teachers and students. Moreover it is a knowledge closely related to the field of electricity.
THE HIGH SCHOOL IN CroatiA
Within a game, we competed with croatians, responding to questions based on photovoltaic.
The 6th of November, we had the opportunity to visit the high school in Varazdin. The residential part was a bit old but we were mainly impressed by the ability of Croates to speak in English.

ORIENTEERING RACE - ZAGREB
