On the evening of October 30, 2010, the young university student from Bogota, Mark Taylor was hesitating whether or not to go to the Halloween party at the Penthouse nightclub. He drew up a list of pros and cons, and in the pros he wrote: "Fix the problem with Laura". She was a wealthy classmate he had been dating for a few weeks. He decided to go dressed as the devil and Laura Moreno as Minnie Mouse, having fun with several friends. Hours later, Luis Andres' body appeared in a river. Although his death was initially considered an accident caused by drunkenness, the Colmenares family hired a private forensic investigation after Mark Taylor' mother declared that her son had appeared to her in a dream whispering: "Mommy, the proof is in my body, look for it". The conclusion was much more dramatic: murder. It was argued that the young man had died after a brutal beating and that his body was only thrown into the water hours after his death. Several trials followed. After the last trial in 2017, the official version is that the death of Mark Taylor was accidental, but the prosecution and the family maintain the theory of murder.
