What is round robin?
Round robin is ....
an active learning technique using brainstorming strategy which involves contribution of ideas of many individuals without being influenced by any person. Unlike buzz group, round robin requires each individual to state his/her idea and pass it to the next person. Discussion of the ideas involves screening which ideas to retain or discard (done in a group).
How to Use Round Robin?
Process
Divide students into groups. Not more than 4 persons per group.
Give students a question. Don't discuss answer.
Pass the card/paper with written answer to the next person.
Each student tries to answer the question independently.
Each student in a group is given a blank card/paper.
Each student has to use the neighbour's answer to create a new answer (idea). If there is an ample time, this can be repeated for few times so the group will have variety of answers/ideas.

Good idea
Round robin can be used to generate ideas from another ideas.
All good ideas start from bad ideas, that's why it takes so long.
- Stephen King -
There is nothing wrong to have a bad idea as long as we are willing to improve it and turn it into a good idea.
If bad ideas cannot be improved, there is nothing wrong to throw it away. Don't stuck in a bad idea to move forward for a better idea.
Notable Quote
The way to get good ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.
- Linus Pauling -
