Fixed Ratio
In this schedule, reinforcement is delivered after the completion of a number of responses. The required number of responses remains constant.
ex; I give my dog a treat fter a fixed number of times they roll over
Variable Ratio
a schedule of reinforcement where a response is reinforced after an unpredictable number of responses.
ex; I give my dog a treat after a variable number of times they roll over
Fixed Interval
a schedule when reinforcement is given to a desired response after specific (predictable) amount of time has passed.
I give my dog a treat after a fixed period of time in whcih they remain well behaved
Variable Interval
a schedule of reinforcement where a response is rewarded after an unpredictable amount of time has passed, which is the opposite of a fixed-interval schedule.
