Origin
- Started out from north in the Andes and in Central Peru.- Expanded through the first wave of language. - It is important to know that people can switch to speaking another language gradually. - Aymara as the language of Wari civilisation.
- With the arrival of European invaders in 1532, the decline of the Aymara culture began.
- As well as other indigenous people, Aymara people were also persecuted during the colonisation, and forced to work in mines.
- The Aymaras, who inhabited coastal areas, started to move to the mountains, and the range of the altiplano, forming small villages.
- Is in the mountains where a linguistic and ethnic division develops and concludes with the Aymarization of the area.
