the plot
The film Wonder is about the story of Auggie Pullman, a boy with a craniofacial malformation caused by Treacher Collins syndrome.
Partly out of fear of other children's reactions to his appearance Auggie never went to school in his life.
When he has to start sixth grade, his parents enroll him in a real school.
At school, Auggie turns out to be a great pupil, but spends his days alone until a boy named Jack decides to get close to him and the two form a strong friendship.
After some time despite so many difficulties as the school bullies who make fun of him Auggie manages to integrate and at the end of the year he also receives the "Harry World" medal which honors students who have made themselves appreciated and have been exemplary.
my favourite scene from the film
The part of the film that I liked the most was the final one where Auggie finally gets his
standing ovation after so many difficulties: his whole school, his classmates, his professors,
his family are all standing there for applaud him.5g
the message of the film
I liked this movie a lot because it sends a beautiful message: how you shouldn't judge a book by
its cover so you shouldn’t judge a boy by his face.
In fact in my opinion no one should be judged by the outward appearance because it is how we
are inside that really matters.
