Research

The objective is to deliver a basic research document in which you'll present the answers for the following questions in an essay form. You will be group in teams of 3 or 4 people, made by your teacher. The first page of the research must be a Cover Page that will be like this:

What is optimization within the context of Calculus? What is the importance of this concept? Whta type of mathematical problems does optimization help to solve?

What are some of real life fields in which the concept of optimization could be applied? Mention at least two, in general, and explain how the concept is applied (please, avoid specific copy pasted information about a detailed application. Instead, read and write uderstandable well sumarized paragraphs).

What are the steps, recommended by mathematical literature, in order to apply optimization process correctly? Mention and develope all the concepts. This concepts are similar to those used to solve any mathematical problem. Avoid detailed steps related with industrial processes.
