I choose talk about environmental associations because I find it a interesting topic and I think people have to know a little bit about this.

• Greenpeace is the largest environmental association in the world. Its objective is to defend and protect the environment, carrying out operations in different parts of the world where all kinds of attacks against nature occur.
• All kinds of campaigns are carried out, be it against climate change, to protect diversity, to reduce pollution and stop the use of nuclear energy and nuclear weapons.

• It was founded in 1971 as a way to protest against nuclear activity in the United States. Greenpeace operates by carrying out direct non-violent actions and also for the purpose of research to fulfill its objectives to help in a world dedicated to ecology.
• This association is established in most of the world, with national and regional offices in more than 40 countries.

• Is dedicated to the protection of the environment internationally. It mainly focuses on energy efficiency, climate protection, sustainable development and sustainable energy supply.

• Its mission is to promote a sustainable behavior with regard to the natural environment, together with renewable energies that it has declared as a task to protect the land, water, air and biological diversity.

• Was born in 2010 and began operations in 2012 as a result of UN multilateral negotiations.

• Promotes clean technologies, economic activities and renewable energies that are friendly to the environment.
