Inspector Granger arrived at 9 o’clock. He was a tall man with a big black moustache. Amanda, Barbara, and Gordon were in the living room. The inspector come in. “Mr Travers died between midnight last night and seven o’clock this morning” he said. “Somebody in this room killed him” He looked at them one by one, but nobody spoke. He said to Mrs Travers, “Come into the library” Amanda Travers followed the inspector into the library and they sat down. Inspector Granger asked her, “Did your husband go somewhere after dinner last night?” Then, Mrs Travers mention, “No, Jeremy went to sleep” Inspeptor Granger asked her, “Did you go to bed then?” and Mrs Travers answered, “ I didn’t. I went for a walk in the garden” Then, he asked her, “Did you went to bed late at night?” and she said, “I went to bed about quarter to twelve” He also asked her, “Did you see someting strange?” but she didn’t know how to explain what she saw.
