Renewable and Non-renewable resources
By Keily Hernandez
Renewable resources: capable of being replaced
Non-renewable resources: Not able to be renewed
Example of Non-renewable : Anything made by people
Example of Renewable: Anything made by Nature
Fossil fuels: A fuel (like Coal or Oil) formed in the earth from plants or animals.
Nuclear power: Using Nuclear to create energy that we use every day.
Two types of non-renewable resources
1. Fossil Fuels
2. Nuclear Energy
Three types of fossil fuels:
1.
2.
1. Coal: Burning coal will help create power.
2. Natural gas: Used for heating like cooking.
3. Oil: Many people used Oil for cars but, it's hard to locate.
3.
Non-renewable energy
Pros:
1. Good for power
2. A more endless power store
3. Cheap
4. Truthful and excellent
Non-renewable energy
Cons:
1. Bad for Nature
2. Unlimited
3. Dangerous
4. Not clean
The Renewable Resources
2.
1.
1. Solar: Solar panels are put on roofs to collect sunlight and turn it into power.
2. Wind: The use of wind to give power through wind moter to create energy.
3. Water: It is reuseable. Whenever it rains, it goes back to the ocean. We can use the water to create power with machines.
4.
3.
4. Geothermal: Using Heat from inside the Earth to turn into power.
5. Biomass: Used by burning living plant items to create heat ( Example:Wood)
5.
Renewable resource.
Pros:
1. Clean
Cons:
1. Harmful to Nature
