My Financial Toolkit for University

“Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving” -Warren Buffett

Three steps to be Financialy prepared After High School

  • I’m currently working at the moment, and I plan to save my money for school. I also have a savings account that I have had ever since I was a baby and I have been saving money throughout the years.
  • My parents will contribute to some of the expenses of my education. Even with the money I have been saving, I still won't have enough money to pay for my education alone.
  • I plan on using OSAP- The Ontario Student Assistance Program is a financial aid program that can help you pay for college or university. OSAP offers funding through grants which is money you don’t have to pay back and student loans which is money you do have to pay back.
