Can we make an electric circuit work with solar panels and colored light?
Background research
What is energy
Energy, in physics, the capacity of doing work.
Types of energy
The different types of energy include thermal energy, radiant energy, chemical energy, nuclear energy, electrical energy, motion energy, sound energy, elastic energy and gravitational energy.
What is a circuit
A circuit is a closed loop that electrons can travel through a source of electricity, such as a battery, provides electrical energy in the circuit. Unless the circuit is complete, that is, making a full circle back to the electrical source, no electrons will move. Generally, there is some appliance that uses electricity in the circuit. The appliance may, for example, provide light, heat or mechanical energy.
Types of circuits
There are two types of circuit we can make, called series and parallel. The components in a circuit are joined by wires. If there are no branches then it's a series circuit. If there are branches it's a parallel circuit.
FRACTION SUMS
Fraction sums are used specifically in parallel circuits. They are used to add resistances, and the number of fractions depends on the number of resisstances.

how does an electric circuit work
What is electricity
An electric current in a circuit transfers energy from the battery to the circuit components. No current is 'used up' in this process. In most circuits, the moving charged particles are negatively charged electrons that are always present in the wires and other components of the circuit.
Electricity is the presence or flow of charged particles. "Electricity can travel through something when its structure allows electrons to move through it easily. Metals like copper have "free" electrons that are not bound tightly to other atoms.

Color and Absorption Spectroscopy
The frequency of the radiation is proportional to its energy and the wavelength of the radiation is inversely proportional to the energy. Red is the lowest energy visible light and violet is the highest. Spectrometers can accurately distinguish and quantify radiation in the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared regions of the spectrum. You know that visible light is composed of a range of frequencies. .
A solid object has color depending on the light it reflects. If it absorbs light in the red and yellow region of the spectrum, it will have a blue color. Here is an example. Chlorophyll, the pigment that makes plants green, absorbs light in the red end of the spectrum and light in the blue end of the spectrum. A green leaf is green to us because the middle band of visible light is not absorbed and is instead reflected into our eyes.
hypothesis
Can we make an electric circuit work with solar and colored artificial light? The circuit will work better with the purple light than with the red light.

RESULTS
The circuit worked perfectly fine with the solar light, and it had almost the same reaction with the colored light.
cONCLUSION
THE END!
In this project we learned that a circuit is not just about turning on the light bulb, it is much more difficult than that In our case we you have to learn very important things for the circuit to work. This was an interdiciplinary project but we could see the connection between all te topics. Since we got together to perform the experiment it was really fun seeing each other.
