Proper media use consists of ethics that people need to follow or apply when using media in order for positive outcomes and feedbacks.

How to Use Media Properly

Do not post photos or videos that could damage your reputation. Do not post personal information. Do not trash-talk other people. Turn on your privacy settings. Should you interact with your students online? Protect your family privacy. Think before you post. Be respectful. Respect your audience and your peers. Get your facts straight. Be mindful of your public image. Use your best judgment.

For parents, make sure you give your attention to the youths in your household and always ask them how they are doing. For the youths, always be attentive on what you see and read online and always check the facts before applying it. Also don't trust someone easily you've met on the internet. There will be a lot of negative impact and outcome if someone won't follow the proper use of media.
