According to Cambridge Disctionary, the word "flashcard" means:

• a card with a word or picture on it that is used to help students learn

• a small piece of stiff paper with a word, picture, or question on it that is to teach something

- new vocabulary- children sitting in their desks - sticking the flashcards on the whiteboard - pointing at particural card and saying the name - students repeat words - writing down the new vocabulary
