Topic: Present Perfect
objective:To know the use Present perfect and increase the level of using new vocabulary and understanding texts.
Description
Warm up The teacher opens the topic with a round of questions about what the student has done this weekend using the present perfect. Previous knowledege The teacher explains the use of the present perfect with some examples as follows:
- We have spoken several times, but we still can't reach an agreement.
- Our team has played 4 games so far this year.
- How long has Michael been in Barcelona?
- I have loved you since the day I met you.
- I have forgotten your number.
- She has broken her arm de ella.
Development activity The teacher will work with texts found on the internet. then the student is given a copy of a text "Yosemite: One of the most famous national parks in the United States", Immediately afterwards, The teacher makes the students listen to a recording related to the text so that the students pay attention to the intonation and pronunciation.then the student identifies the new words, writes them down and finds their meaning in the dictionary to write them in his notebook. The students then strive to translate the text into Spanish while the teacher listens to them and corrects mistakes. Production Finally, students work in groups of four and prepare a dialogue and then act out talking about important facts using the present perfect.
