BASIC FACTS
When it comes to copyright, it’s divided into two areas, economic and non-profit rights. If you have the financial right to something, you are the one who decides on how your work may be used. For example, how music may be used in reclama, a story may be included in a newspaper or that a photo may be included in an article. Financial rights always lie with the person who created the work from the beginning. However, you can transfer your financial copyrighted material to someone else. This can be done through an agreement with a book publisher or something similar. If you have non-profit rights, it is a matter of you as the author having the right to be indicated with your name if someone uses the work you have done. For example, it may be that an author must be specified if you quote something from a book in an article or essay. This means, for example, that you may not change the work or do anything that offends the author of the work.

However, it can be very difficult to claim this protection. Within copyright, there are both restrictions and exceptions. When it comes to copyright, you may also need to read a bit about copyright and citation rights. These rules concern how you may quote or reproduce all or part of certain works.
