Southwest Asia, includes Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan. This area is also referred to as the Middle East. It is a mostly arid desert area with access to the Black Sea, the Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, Caspian Sea, Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea.
