Some examples are:

• heart /hɑːt/ – hurt /hɜːt/
• feet /fiːt/– fit /fɪt/
• pool /puːl/ – pull /pʊl/

Minimal pairs are those words that confuse us so much, because their pronunciation varies only in one sound.
