The Festival of San Fermín, popularly known as Sanfermines, is a Festival of International Tourist Interest in honour of Saint Fermín of Amiens, which is held annually in the Spanish city of Pamplona, capital of Navarre, of which he is co-patron saint. The encierro is a free 875-metre run in front of six wild bulls and six steers that guide the herd along the route to the bullring. It is held every day during the Sanfermin fiestas, from 7 to 14 July, at 8 o'clock in the morning.

The fundamental characteristic of Galician gastronomy is the high quality of its raw materials, both in meats of all kinds (mainly cattle, pigs and poultry, hunting being also notable) and seafood (Galicia has a long seafaring tradition and the use of all kinds of marine resources), as well as derivatives. As you saw in bateas, mussels are abundant and have a good quallity here. I'm cooking octopus, it's also a very famous Galician product. Our potatoes and "pimientos de padrón" are also well known.
