The city is a very historic city, as it is the capital and it has been around for a long time. It has many old architectural buildings, but at the same time, the city is also quite modern in places. I have compared these 2 to show the difference in sustainability. The average Swiss hotel doesnt take this into consideration, and has high CO2 emmissions. These hotels avoid using organic items as they cost more, and use fossil fuels, and non-renewable energy to power the buildings. They also provide mainly meat in their restaurants.

This eco-friendly hotel has some very sustainable options. It has come up with its own eco-friendly concept which is quite unique. This hotel has a very small carbon footprint which is quite a surprising things for lavish luxurious hotels in the modern day. This morning as always it will start with breakfast and morning routine. Then you will be walking to Old town Bern. This is not a very populated tourist location. You can visit local shops, and also eat food in the old town. Roam around the city, and have sometime enjoying the scenes. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Today will start off with you doing your morning regime with breakfast that is provided yet again. Once this is done, you will be getting ready for a picnic day! In the famous Rosengarten, which is a flower garden in Bern. It is known for its immense beauty, and it is a good day out.

Today is the final day of the trip as on day 8, you will be travelling the whole day. Today after breakfast we have a day trip planned at the famous Bern cathedral. You will roam around the cathedral, and then you will head back to the hotel, have dinner outside on the way there.

The final budget

So, to start off, the budget was 1500 per head max, so 3000 euros max. The car price was, 290 euros. This is a solid price, as this car can be used for anything, and it is quite chepa considering you are travelling a far distance there and back. It is also eco friendly. Secondly, the accomodation, which we already approxiamated to be around 1000 euros, which is again a great price for such a luxury hotel, for such a long period of time of 7 nights. Lastly, the daily expenses added up to 450 euros which included, the daily trip costs, and the food, excluding breakfast as that was provided by the restaurant. Therefore, when we add all these costs we get a final cost of 1750 euros approximately. If we say that another 100 euros were spent on external things, we still save 1150 euros. This is a great trip package to pick for a green vacation with an excellent sustainable hotel, and amazing tourist locations to visit and have a good time for a good price!

So to calculate the final budget for this amazing trip.
