Lesson 1. Vocabulary. 1 h

Teacher presents the new vocabulary, using the flashcards and then the flaschcards with the chant.Pupils work individually, listening the chant and showing pens or pencils of the right colour, then listening and repeating. Pupils practise the new vocabulary, working in pairs. Pupils listen to and try to sing and mime the song "Yellow is my favourite colour".

Lesson 2. Structures. 1 h

Pupils listen to and try to sing and mime the song "Yellow is my favourite colour". Teacher introduces the new structure using flashcards and then showing a pen or a pencil. Pupils work individually, listening and repeating. They practise the new chunks, working in pairs. They play a bingo with the chunks presented.

Lesson 3. Practice. 1 h

Pupils listen to and try to sing and mime the song "Yellow is my favourite colour". They practice the chunks, working in groups, then they play in pairs a simplified Go Fish game. They play a bingo with the chunks presented, working in groups. All together they sing and mime the song "Yellow is my favourite colour" again and again.

Lesson 4. Revision and assessment. 1 h

Teacher points to each part of the picture saying pupils how they have to colour it. Pupils listen to teacher and color the picture. Teacher shows pupils pens and pencils of different colours and pupils say what they are. Pupils sing and mime the song "Yellow is my favourite colour".
