EARTH DAY
Earth Day is the largest environmental event on the planet, the only time when all citizens of the world come together to celebrate the Earth and promote its protection. Earth Day, a moment strongly desired by US Senator Gaylord Nelson and promoted even earlier by President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, involves up to one billion people every year in 192 countries around the world.
The earth does not belong to man, it is man who belongs to the earth!
REUSE
Reuse is the action or practice of using an object, either for an original purpose or to perform a different function. Reuse helps to save several things such as: time, money, energy and a lot of resources. In simpler and broader terms, it can make quality products available to people, providing new jobs and activities that contribute to the economy.
REDUCE
The word Reduce has now entered our life for a long time. Reduce makes a person understand that the amount of waste we produce should be eliminated or reduced. To do this, it would be necessary to create more durable products, to be able to waste less materials for the many products to sell. As a result, less material would be wasted on excessive packaging.
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. The recovery of energy from waste materials is often included in this concept. The recyclability of a material depends on its ability to reacquire the properties it had in its virgin or original state. It is an alternative to "conventional" waste disposal that can save material and help lower greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling can prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, thereby reducing: energy usage, air pollution, and water pollution.
