How DID they colonize?

They first arrived in Indonesia as part of an expedition program(1595), which means they used ships. Then after viewing all the resources, called in more fleets and began to colonize Indonesia slowly, at the same time influencing it more than any other country.

HOW DID INDONESIA GET IT's INdependance?

Indonesia declared independance from the Dutch (and Japanese) in 1945 after nationalists began fighting back.
