Timeline of the Life of Jesus Christ

Jesus birth. The Bible tells us that he was born in Bethlehem, as the son of Mary and Joseph.

0 Year

Massacre of Herod the Great. The King of Judea had all the firstborn children killed, for fear that one of them would be the Messiah.

2nd Year

First appearance in public, of the Child Jesus. Jesus preached in the Temple of Jerusalem before the Doctors of the Law, on a trip that The Holy Family made to the City.

12th Year

Life in Galilee. He learned carpentry, the trade of Joseph, his father on Earth, and thus lived in the town of Galilee.

12th to 30th Year

Beginning of his public life. John baptized him in the Jordan River, and thus began his public life. The Disciples. Humble men of Judea, called and gathered by the Messiah, to help him in the work of Evangelization.

31st Year

32nd year

First miracle. Jesus attended a Wedding in Cana with his Mother, and turned the water into wine.

33rd year

Passion and Death. After three years of preaching and traveling, he died crucified, but he rose again on the third day, as had been predicted.
