3. Read the textMany studies about language learning ask the question: What makes a good language learner? There are some things that good language learners do and some things they don't do. Here are some of the most useful suggestions from studies.
- Don't be afraid of making mistakes. People often get things wrong. Good language learners notice their mistakes and learn from them.
- Do group activities. People use language to communicate with other people. A good language learner always looks for opportunities to talk with other students.
- Make notes during every class. Notes help you to remember new language. Look at your notes when you do your homework.
- Use a dictionary. Good language learners often use dictionaries to check the meaning of words they don't know. They also make their own vocabulary lists.

- Think in the language you're learning outside the classroom. When you're shopping or walking down the street, remember useful words and phrases. Sometimes, when you're at home, say new words to practise your pronunciation.
- Do extra practice. Test and improve your language, reading and listening skills with self-study material. You can find a lot of this online.
- Imagine yourself speaking in the language. Many good language learners can see and hear themselves speaking in the language. This helps their motivation.
- Enjoy the process. Good language learners have fun with the language. Watch a TV series or film, listen to songs, play video games or read a book. It's never too late to become a good language learner.

2. Hull City Tigers Discussion Board
10 minute
1 Hello Tiger fans ! What a week for Hull football! I hope you were able to watch last nigh's game. The whole team played well. I think we surprised a lot of people. This is a really good start to our first year in the Premier League! 5 It's time to think about our future. People in Hull may love the Tigers but how can we attract fans from other places? Winning more games will help, but there is another thing we could do-we could change our jerseys. I love Tigers jerseys as much as the next fan. I'm proud to wear the orange and black, especially when we're playing so well! and I don't mind the advertising on our jerseys. Almost every football team does the same thing. 10 Well, one team in Spain is actually doing something different. As you may know, FC Barcelona is giving money to UNICEF in order to wear the UNICEF logo on its jerseys. And I think the Tigers should do the same thing, or something similar. Let me explain. 15 By giving money to UNvestICEF, FC Barcelona helps other people. But the team also helps itself. UNICEF is a charity. it helps poor children Everyone has a positive opinion of UNICEF. The UNICEF logo connects FC Barcelona to that positive feeling. it makes FC Barcelona stand out in a really good way. The team can attract new fans in other countries. Stores will sell more of the team's jerseys. Basically, it's an investment. By giving a little money to UNICEF, the team will make more money than it would without this investment. 20 So, the Tigers should make the same investment. we could be the first English team to do so. if more people like the team more people will want to visit Hull. This help our city as well . In 2010, the Tigers' advertising contract with Karoo will end. Our team can live without the advertising money. why don't we give money to a charity and wear its logo? What's your opinion, Tiger fans?

Conclusion
- You need to understand how the reading material is structured as well as have a clear idea about what specific information you have to locate.
- Remember that the pre-reading stage is the first of three stages, you should learn what types of while-reading activities you can do in the classroom and also the most common types of a after-reading strategies.
- Teacher must start a reading lesson with a warm-up followed by pre-reading activities and while-reading activities, finally he or she must apply some of the techniques featured in this post to end that reading successfully.
